Vaccine or virus 2 - The right choice!

"The entire planet is on its knees with just 1 gram of virus taking over."

Yes, it is! Guessing that you are back after Vaccine or Virus - 1.  If not go back and check it out! 

So, why some people are dying after getting vaccinated?

Over 20 crore people in India have been vaccinated so far, out of which, only 160-180 have died, which means that the vaccine is already successful.

No, what if I am one amongst the 180?

It is a well-known fact that only people with high cholesterol levels, high sugar levels, high blood pressure(BP), kidney diseases, heart patients, chain smokers, alcoholics, obese people, highly allergic people, asthmatic or other respiratory diseased individuals, cancer patients have died mostly due to lack of awareness and guidance.
  

It doesn't necessarily mean they should not get vaccinated but it is suggested that they consult a doctor and necessarily follow all the guidelines before getting vaccinated. 

If you are already experiencing illness or hospitalized you should wait for 4-8 weeks before getting vaccinated.  Or, if you have tested covid positive recently or received plasma or antibodies, you can take the vaccine after 3 months of recovery.

And, if you are pregnant or lactating or planning for a baby - you can get vaccinated. There is no risk for miscarriage or any developmental growth of the baby. 

"Vaccination is completely safe in the case of healthy individuals."

But I can get ill or side effects if vaccinated.

From my previous blog, you know that vaccines are made up of the same microbes that cause the disease.  Due to which our body reacts in the same way when we actually get infected by the virus.

The side effects show the effectiveness of the vaccine and in fact, they are normal.  These side effects include pain in the arm, fever, headache, body ache, tiredness, nausea, cold, etc., which can vary amongst individuals. 

Moreover, these side effects are very mild when compared to severe complications if infected by corona.

But what if there is again a new variant of corona? Will this work?

After vaccination, in case if you get infected by a new corona, it is so sure you will already have 60% immunity to battle the new variants of the corona depending upon the similarity in the parts of the virus.  Only the remaining 40% can lead you to fewer complications. 

Coming to the bottommost part,  it is crucial that we build more trust over documented and approved printed media(newspaper, magazines) than social media.

Also, we must understand that the knowledge of doctors and scientists can never be compared to our petty understanding after reading a few WhatsApp forwards, Instagram or Facebook memes, Twitter tweets, Youtube videos, etc.

So, let's listen to them for our finer future! 

"We all are in this together and we will get through this together."  

It is all in "The right choice" we make - either the vaccine with mild illness or the disease with severe complications.
